Since the Wild Santa has started with the Toys For Tots program four years ago we are proud to say we have helped supply Christmas to thousands of children with an estimated 13,500 toys collected and $16,000 in cash and checks. Not bad for a bunch of bikers and friends out for a ride and helping kids along the way!!!!! This years event is right around the corner and we hope to see those numbers climb higher...

HOW ARE THE TOYS COLLECTED AT THE WILD SANTA RIDE DISTRIBUTED

The toys donated at the Wild Santa Event go to the Atlanta Toys For Tots. Do not let that name fool you. The name says Atlanta, but, this program covers a much wider area than Atlanta. These toys will be distributed to 28  metro Atlanta counties. That in turn equals close to 200,000 children. The Atlanta Toys For Tots tries to give each child 2 toys plus one stocking\stuffer.

THE GOAL OF WILD SANTA

The goal of the WILD SANTA EVENT is to raise as many toys, and money, possible for the TOYS FOR TOTS PROGRAM.

THE ULTIMATE GOAL also is to start condensing all the numerous TOYS FOR TOTS rides into one large event. We at Wild Santa have formed a Board, each of whom have strong ties with the Riding community. With this board we hope to be able to provide yearly a ride in which every rider that attends will look forward to returning to each year after. WILD SANTA started off with just a handful of riders in 2004 that braved the cold. We hope to continue to increase our numbers exponentially and the toys collected every year.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO RIDE?

The WILD SANTA EVENT is one of those rare rides that cost nothing but a toy to ride. All year riders have to pay to ride with one another. All we ask is that, each rider, in the course of the year  picks up a toy when money is good and saves it for this ride. For the riders who would rather drop a donation instead of riding with a toy the USMC will be on hand with their red Toys For   Tots ammo boxes to receive any donations. The 2006 WILD SANTA ended up collecting over   2500 toys and over $4,300 cash. Not bad for a great ride.
